CTPA has joined the National Hairdressers' Federation (NHF) in reminding hairdressers and beauty therapists that it is illegal for tooth whitening to be carried out within hair or beauty salons.
The NHF is alerting salons of a recent call by the Local Government Association for "rogue" beauticians who offer tooth whitening to face tougher penalties. A new factsheet from NHF provides helpful information and advice, while highlighting court action already taken.
