SkinCare Simplified - A Parent's Guide

As skincare trends become increasingly popular among children and young people, many parents and carers find themselves navigating a fast-changing landscape of advice, products and social pressures.

This guidance, developed in partnership with Dr Anjali Mahto, Consultant Dermatologist, is designed to support families with clear information and answers to the most common questions, focusing not on promoting strict skincare routines, but on helping parents and carers guide their children thoughtfully through these trends. By encouraging healthy self-esteem, critical thinking about online beauty standards and informed choices, we aim to empower families to prioritise wellbeing and confidence over the pursuit of 'perfect' skin.

We invite you to explore this guidance and discover practical ways to support your child’s healthy relationship with their skin.
