Keratin

Keratin is a strong, fibrous protein that naturally makes up much of our hair, skin, and nails. It acts like a protective shield, helping to keep these parts of our body strong and resilient.

Keratin is often present in cosmetics as hydrolysed keratin, which means it has been broken down into smaller parts so it can be absorbed more easily. Keratin can come from animal sources such as wool, or from non-animal sources.
